Qualifications

I’ve been in the finance broking industry since 2006, and have helped hundreds of clients through the process of making one of life’s biggest decisions – taking a mortgage.

I hold a Diploma of Financial Services (Lending) and a Diploma in Financial Services (Finance Broking & Mortgage Management), which means I have an excellent technical understanding of the finance industry, and can use that understanding to provide my clients with intelligent advice and solutions.

I am a member of the Mortgage Finance Association of Australia (MFAA), the peak industry body for professional credit advisors.  This means I am bound by a strict code of conduct, and must undertake continuing education programs to ensure that I am always up to date with the latest products and trends in the finance world.

I am also a member of the Credit Ombudsman Service (COSL), which ensures my clients have access to an accessible, independent and fair external dispute resolution service in the unlikely event of a dispute.

I maintain relationships with over 25 different lenders, and have access to hundreds of different loan products, each suited to a different type of situation.  With the information on each product at my fingertips, I can compare them in an instant, saving you a mountain of time and ensuring you’re getting the best available price and terms.

I’ll guide you through the entire loan application process, from providing initial advice and recommending you the best possible product, all the way through to taking care of documentation and facilitating settlement.

I’m interested in developing long-term relationships.  After I’ve placed your initial loan, I’ll check back with you regularly to ensure it’s still working for you.  I’ll provide you with updates about the latest trends and developments in the market, and I’ll be there for you in the future if you want to make changes, take out another loan or just want some advice.

For me, finance broking isn’t a job; it’s what I love to do.  I’m driven by seeing excitement and happiness on people’s faces, whether it is first home owners buying their first home, couples or families building, renovating or extending, or investors creating wealth for their future.

I don’t have the “big bank” mentality – never have and never will.  I’m not an ex-banker, or a current banker.  Yes I love finance, but I love the part of finance that helps people to be HAPPY – and that’s why I chose to be a broker.
